1. It's the first day of classes. What's your number one priority?
Immedietly try to find out if/when there's a party going on tonight.
Can't wait until break to check out all the greek rushes.
Not to miss class. You've been so tired lately it's bound to happen.
To buy all the required books and materials for each class, of course!
Try to form a study group for the test in three weeks.
Call your parents and ask them for money for books. You kinda blew your money on dorm decor.
2. Your english professor has just assigned an eight page paper due in two weeks. You:
offer to write up papers for your classmates in an effort to make some money for food.
spend every night partying, then remember about the paper the night before as you stumble to your room.
try to make time for it between the pledge activities and fraternity/sorority events.
start working on it, but never seem to finish it in time because you keep falling asleep at the computer.
have the paper done a week before it's due and ask if you can hand it in early for extra credit.
worry yourself in a tizzy and see if anyone is having an emergency study group in the library.
3. You meet an attractive member of the opposite sex in the dining hall one evening. How do you put the moves on them?
Ask them if they'd like to get together and study some time.
Compliment them and flirt like crazy. Maybe they'll pay for your food.
Ask them if they're going to the big party this weekend.
Tell them all about your fraternity/sorority and ask them which one they belong to.
Really wish you could go up and talk to them, but you have nothing to talk about execpt how you missed your afternoon classes.
Offer to sit with them and talk about how much they enjoy college life.
4. You have to give an oral presentation in your speech class. For your topic, you choose to discuss:
the reasons why a person should attend a university.
your top ten tips on how to cram for a test.
the value of the dollar in college life.
how to throw the perfect house party.
the reasons why a person should join a fraternity/sorority.
anything that comes to your head. You forgot to prepare a speech in advance... again.
5. Your cousin is coming up to visit you for the weekend. You:
shove everything in your closet and try to think up anything you two could do together besides attend class.
prepare a guided tour of the campus (given by you) to show off some of the highlights of the campus.
worry. Is your cousin going to interfere with your study hours?
ask your cousin to bring some money with him/her. You're flat broke.
are stoked. You can't wait to go clubbing with your cousin!
set aside time from your busy schedule to hang with your cousin in between the cancer walk and the toy drive for the homeless shelter, both required events for your fraternity/sorority.
6. It's the week of finals. Your general outlook seems:
psyched. You and your brothers/sisters had a study party last night and you feel good to go.
hazy. With all the school you've missed this semester you're lucky if you remember anything at all from the lectures you actually went to.
positive. You've been ready for finals for weeks now.
nervous. You hope that cram session last night pays off.
relieved. The semester is over and that means you can go back home and not have to worry where your next meal is coming from.
cool. So what if you don't pass your finals? You're too busy trying to figure out what you'll wear to the party tonight.
7. Your plans over break include:
parties, parties and more parties, duh!
three food drives, six club meetings, the March of Dimes and maybe seeing your family.
sleeping in, like you normally do.
heading back home armed with school t-shirts and mugs for the whole family.
finally taking a load off your feet from all the studying you've been doing.
working. You're going to need money when you get back to school.
